Members of the Rail Baltica Business Network (RBBN) got acquainted with the construction works of the Rail Baltica passenger terminus at \u00dclemiste. The \u00dclemiste intermodal terminal will be the starting point of a high-speed rail link connecting the Baltic States and Finland with Central Europe, as well as Tallinn’s new public transport node and hub. \u00dclemiste terminal will integrate different modes of transport, exciting public and commercial spaces. Construction works started in 2022, with the whole building expected to be completed by 2028. The terminal has already been given a name – \u201cLinda\u201d as a result of a public competition. \u00dclemiste Linda terminal will become a landmark meeting point, where the 1520mm and 1435mm rail gauges will come together with direct connections to the new intercity bus terminal and Tallinn International Airport. The works are progressing at an impressive pace and were reported on by Anvar Salomets, Chairman of the Board of Rail Baltic Estonia O\u00dc. The tour continued with an overview of the refurbished T1 shopping centre next door, which is becoming a magnet for shopping and leisure in Tallinn. The future Rail Baltica terminal is positively affecting the plans of T1, as it will contribute to further growth in visitor numbers.<\/p>\n<\/div>
