Katoen Natie Group provides a variety of semi-industrial services, designs, builds and manages logistics platforms and assembles supply chains for different industrial sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Liwathon E.O.S. provides a wide selection of handling, transportation, and storage services in Estonia for liquid fuels that are shipped on from here to worldwide destinations. The terminal, conveniently located in Muuga Harbor, offers favorable opportunities for maritime and rail transport of liquid fuels via the Baltic Sea region.<\/p>\n<p>Mart Melles, Katoen Natie\u2019s Management Board Member in Estonia, says that becoming a member of the RB Business Network was a more than logical step as they\u2019ve been keeping an eye on Rail Baltica\u2019s development from day one. \u201cFor us, Rail Baltica offers numerous new opportunities for the transportation of goods on the North-South and East-West routes. We\u2019ve already considered Rail Baltica in our commercial operations moving forward and preparations have been made for connecting our terminal to the future railroad,\u201d Melles added.<\/p>\n<p>Heiki Karu, Liwathon\u2019s Operations Manager, views Rail Baltica as the largest logistic related construction project in the near future. \u201cAs Liwathon operates in the logistics sector as well, it\u2019s important for us to keep up to speed with the Rail Baltica related developments and in touch with the contacts related to them.
